The stereotypical narrative of a broken Africa lacking the resources and agency to propel transformation is gradually making way for a comprehensive narrative that portrays the continent beyond abysmal leadership, poverty, corruption, and diseases. The notable place of Africa in the grand scheme of global economic transformation is incontrovertible.
Day in and day out, the future of Africa shines brighter. At the center of this radiance are the rapid growth in population and the young demographic that characterizes it. Africa will account for 80 percent of the projected 4 billion increase in the global population by 2100.
