With almost a decade of professional experience, she stands as a transformative leader known for pioneering youth-centered initiatives that drive innovation and spur economic growth. As Co-founder & CEO of WestlionCo, a Pan-African Development Catalyst with the primary mandate to bridge the gap between Africa’s Burgeoning Youth & the Continent’s Development Vision, she has garnered extensive regional knowledge and a deep understanding of the socio-economic, political, and cultural landscapes across Africa.

Her unique ability to conceptualize and implement development strategies has led to the flagship undertakings of the organization. Under her leadership, the firm has spearheaded innovative initiatives aimed at amplifying the distinct viewpoints, and aspirations of Africa’s Youth, ensuring their inputs are valued, and recognized in shaping and building the Africa we want. One of her key initiatives is the Young African Voices, a youth-led, country-based, inter-sectoral dialogue focusing on the future Africa we envision. It is set to launch soon in Ghana, Nairobi, Kigali, and Botswana.

Her resolute posture on impact is evidenced through her annual flagship summit “The Africa Entrepreneurship Accelerator Summit” which gathers over 300+ stakeholders from across Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem each year. Additionally, her “35 Under 35 Initiative” spotlights, acknowledges, and celebrates young African female entrepreneurs aged 18-35. Her leadership earned her a nomination as the Most Respected CEO in Business Development at the 6th Edition of the Ghana Industry CEO Awards.

In broadening her horizon & deepening her entrepreneurial footprint, Ms. Annan holds the role of Principal Director of the ForeRunners Academy. Her contributions have been pivotal in equipping young people with the essential skills required to thrive in today’s rapidly changing world. The academy provides executive courses in Leadership & Diplomacy, Climate Sustainability, Communication, Digital Literacy, Sports Leadership and Entrepreneurship. As an ardent Development Advocate & Communication Expert, she lends her insights through writing and speaking across various platforms. She also offers leadership communication training for professionals in every sphere.

Beyond her proficiency in Development and Communication, Ms. Annan has a deep-seated philanthropic commitment to accelerating equitable access to quality education. She serves as Executive Director of the Cycling Scholars Africa Foundation. Her most recent project – AfriTour Expeditions – focuses on changing the way Africans perceive Africa through immersive travel experiences across the continent.

Ms. Annan, a proud product of Ghana’s leading university, holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Ghana. She is a Pan-Africanist, Columnist & Social Entrepreneur.
